Fatima Derby
Fatima Derby is a queer African feminist writer, community organizer and storyteller passionately living and working towards the liberation of African and Afro-descendant people globally. She enjoys reading for pleasure, doing karaoke with her loved ones and experimenting with coffee recipes. Fatima is inspired by Black queer and trans people everywhere who are living their truth with authenticity and pride.
Ophelia Kemigisha
Ophelia Kemigisha is a queer feminist, writer and human rights lawyer from Kampala, Uganda. She is interested in infusing radical politics into legal structures and public consciousness to fight patriarchal violence and oppression. Ophelia loves reading, curating memes on Instagram, and napping.
Daphne Jena
Daphne Jena is a feminist who is passionate about women’s rights advocacy, with a
focus on gender-based violence (GBV), sexual reproductive health rights (SRHR) and using tech for social justice. She has over 10 years’ of experience in feminist organizing and women’s rights advocacy. Her advocacy and activism work is centered on using alternative media for activism, women’s rights and feminist philanthropy and works as the Programmes officer for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights a thematic area that leads the GBV and SRHR work for Urgent Action Fund Africa.
